Structural features
- Double-layer vacuum insulated tank:
The tank of the LNG semi-trailer usually adopts a double-layer stainless steel structure, with a vacuum insulation layer between the inner and outer layers, which effectively reduces heat conduction, ensures stable storage of LNG at a low temperature of -162℃, and reduces the volatility (BOG, Boil-Off Gas).
- High-strength support frame:
The tank is fixed to the semi-trailer chassis through a high-strength steel frame to ensure dynamic loads and vibrations during transportation, while reducing the vehicle's own weight and improving transportation efficiency.
- Multi-axle chassis design:
The common configuration is a 3-axle or 4-axle chassis, using air suspension or leaf spring suspension to ensure driving stability and load-bearing capacity. Some high-end models are equipped with an automatic inflation and deflation system to adapt to different road conditions.
