container, also known as container, refers to a large loading container with a certain strength, stiffness and specifications for turnover. There is an 11-digit number on the container box, the first four digits are letters, the last seven digits are numbers, this number is unique, called the box number. At present, China, Japan, the United States, France and other relevant countries in the world have fully introduced the ISO definition. In addition to the definition of ISO, there are definitions of containers under the Container Customs Convention (CCC), the International Container Safety Convention (CSC), the British National standard and the North American Pacific Liner Conference, which are basically the same.


According to the provisions of the 104th Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), containers should meet the following conditions:

 

(1) It can be used repeatedly for a long time and has sufficient strength.

(2) transit does not need to move the goods in the box, you can directly change the loading.

(3) can be quickly loaded and unloaded, and can be directly and easily changed from one means of transport to another.

(4) Facilitate the filling and unloading of goods.

(5) Having a volume of 1 cubic meter (i.e. 35.32 cubic feet) or more.

 

A large loading container that meets the above 5 conditions can be called a container.
