Conventional iso tank container sizes are 10FT,20FT,30FT,40FT and others, and 40 ft iso tank container is usually used for LNG storage and transportation.
LNG tank container, referred to as tank box, is the storage tank installed and fixed on the external frame of the standard container. It is as convenient as the container in lifting, storage and transportation, and can realize the convenient international intermodal transport mode without intermediate links between road, railway and water transport, without changing equipment, without preparing LNG tanker and LNG professional carrier, can directly use the existing container cargo ships, and there is no need to build a special LNG docking and unloading dock. Existing container terminals can be used for unloading. Therefore, the use of LNG tank container transport can greatly reduce the cost of LNG trade.
